These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of smart-citylabs.com (the “Site”) operated by Smart City Labs, Inc. (“SCL”). They do not govern the Smart City Labs Platform or any SCL deployment — those are covered by the separately executed Customer Agreement and Data Processing Addendum.
By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
The Site contains marketing material, thought leadership, research, downloadable resources, and contact forms. It is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SCL may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or related systems; (b) submit content that’s unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or contains malicious code; (c) use the Site to harvest data or train automated systems without our consent; (d) interfere with the operation of the Site or any other user’s use of it.
The Site, including all text, design, photography, code, and downloadable materials, is owned by SCL or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may share excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish substantial portions, repackage downloads, or claim authorship.
Downloadable materials (playbooks, mini-guides, diagnostics) are provided for the recipient’s personal and professional reference. Don’t resell them. Don’t feed them into an AI training corpus. Citing them in your own work, with attribution, is welcome.
The Site links to third-party sites and tools we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content or practices.
The Site is for informational purposes. Nothing on the Site is investment, legal, tax, or engineering advice. Any forward-looking statements (market sizing, technology adoption, projected outcomes) are estimates, not guarantees. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to $100 USD.
You agree to indemnify SCL against any claim arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the Site or its materials.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
We may update these terms; any material changes will be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date above.
